How to correctly disassemble the bearings of the drum?

During the operation of the horizontal screw centrifuge, high-speed operation is often required, so high requirements are placed on the bearings. When it is found that the bearings of the rotary drum have some problems and need to be replaced, how can we ensure that the working function of the centrifuge is not damaged? Firstly, when carrying out dismantling operations, professional tools need to be equipped and then operated by professionals. When disassembling the small end bearing of the horizontal screw centrifuge drum, the bolts on the main pulley end pressure plate should be removed first, and then the end pressure plate should be removed using a top screw. During this process, it is important to ensure that the force on the screws is consistent and not tilted. Then, remove the end pressure plate and use a three legged die to pull out the pulley.

At the same time, when disassembling, don't forget to mark the relevant parts for easy reinstallation. Next, disassemble the flat key, groove cone end screws, bearing seat sealing ring, and O-ring at once. Place a load-bearing object on the bearing end face of the rotary drum of the horizontal screw centrifuge, and use a three legged gripper to pull out the bearing sleeve, bearing sleeve cover, bearing, and shaft sleeve together.

After disassembling the small end bearing, it is necessary to disassemble the large end bearing. The same requires the use of professional tools. The detailed process is to remove the bolts from the flange, and then remove the differential and spline shaft. Then, loosen and remove the bolts on the shaft end pressure plate, and use a suitable top screw to push out the shaft end pressure plate. It should also be noted that when disassembling the large end bearing of the centrifuge drum, the force on the screws should be consistent and not tilted. Place the force bearing body on the end face of the shaft, use a three legged die to pull out the connecting flange and bearing seat sealing ring together, and then remove the flat key.

In fact, there is not much difference between these two processes, and operators should pay attention and keep records at this moment to facilitate the reinstallation operation. Place a load-bearing object on the end face of the shaft, use a three legged die to pull out the bearing sleeve, bearing sleeve cover, bearing, and shaft sleeve together, and make corresponding marks on the bearing sleeve of the horizontal screw centrifuge.
