working principle

The upper suspension centrifuge is mainly composed of a motor, a rotating system, a frame, a casing, brakes, sugar gates, honey separation, washing, and an electronic control system. Its structure is that the transmission is placed above, and the spindle is directly driven by a vertical motor with a flange through an elastic coupling. The rotary drum (a metal thin-walled cylinder with many drainage holes) is fixed at the lower end of the main shaft, and the upper end of the main shaft is suspended in a bearing chamber with a spherical surface by means of a single row of radial thrust ball bearings and a short cylindrical roller bearing. The spherical surface is supported on the bearing chamber seat, and sliding pads (polytetrafluoroethylene) are lined between the spherical surfaces to reduce wear. This rotating system is fixed on the frame. A rubber buffer pad is installed between the bearing chamber and the bearing chamber seat to form a flexible support. When the material imbalance generates interference force during the operation of the drum, the spherical surface of the bearing chamber can make a slight swing, relying on the damping and vibration reduction effect of the rubber buffer pad to control the swing amplitude of the main shaft operation within a certain range. At the same time, the damping and vibration reduction effect of the cushion absorbs some of the vibration energy, achieving a good vibration reduction effect. Due to the flexible structure of the spindle system, it has an automatic centering function during high-speed operation, which makes the machine run smoothly, safely and reliably.

The working principle of a suspended centrifuge is to inject the separated suspension material into a drum, and when it rotates at high speed, the centrifugal force field is used to throw the liquid out of the drum, while the solid particles are intercepted by a filter laid inside the drum, thus completing solid-liquid separation. Suspended centrifuges can be divided into two categories based on the discharge method for separating different materials:

·The solid grains are fine and the texture is compact. The drum adopts a cylindrical body, and the material can be scraped off the drum wall through radial and axial movements of the scraper to complete the unloading process. It is called the "XJZ" type.

·The solid grains are coarse and the texture is relatively loose. The rotary drum adopts a conical body, and the material is loosened by inertia when the drum stops at low speed, relying on gravity to complete unloading, which is called the "XZ" type.

The hanging centrifuge is mainly used for the separation of glucose and glucose paste. Currently, it is also applied in other fields, such as glucose paste, mannitol, potassium chloride, etc.

With the continuous advancement of separation technology, this machine can also be tested in suspension materials containing solid grains, low viscosity, good flowability, and generally a solid-liquid ratio (weight ratio) of 45-60%.
